Mcdonalds ad

I watched a advertisement for McDonalds. It was about a family that was enjoying a meal at home from McDonalds. There was a mother, father, sister, and then a little boy. The little boy was not seated at the table in the beginning, but instead entered the scene dancing with his food to the cha-cha slide. The music was playing and he was taking his food and eating and playing with it to the beat of the music. Everyone at first looked at him a little crazy, but as the song progressed the rest of the family started to get into it as well. I think this ad showed that McDonalds food is a fun way to eat. It brought together the family and they had fun together.

I feel you can be rich in other ways than just having money. I have found riches in friendships and family. I can go to my family for anything. They give me support and comfort me when I need it. Money can not buy you happiness. Money is just a tangible object that is used to buy things. Feeling rich in other ways than money can bring happiness and a sense of fullness.

Animal Farm 10/2/08

I loved reading the speech by Major from George Orwell's, Animal Farm. I thought it was very fun to read and also very interesting. It was weird to think about animals talking and conversing with one another. In my everyday life I always wonder what my dog is thinking, now after reading this it puts it in to a whole other perspective wondering how and what he communicates with other animals!! I find it all very bizarre but interesting.
